2010 RANAFA Tour

In July of this year, RANAFA toured the Top End as part of the Navy Community Engagement Programme. This proved to be an exciting initiative which raised the profile of Navy within the far north indigenous communities. The team travelled to Arnhem Land and the Tiwi Islands and culminated in the the guys playing an indigenous representational side prior to the Bulldogs v Port Adelaide AFL match at TIO Stadium. Check out the Darwin 2010 link for more photos.

2010 Results:

After taking out both trophies in 2009, the 2010 Carnival has been run at Whitten Oval with mixed results for Navy. After strong wins against RAAF in both games, Army proved too strong in the end and took out both the Geoff Ledger and Jim Smail trophies. Check out the 2010 carnival link for all of the results.
