Both the Harman Hogs and the Queanbeyan Tigers compete in the AFL Canberra competition albeit in different divisions. Keep an eye on Belconnen Magpies and Gungahlin as well with some Navy Football stauchions in coaching roles.

See how the Navy players are going in the Sydney AFL competition. Players in the area seem to chop and change clubs pretty often and dont get tied down to one particular club but over the years St George, Balmain and Wests have been popular in the Premier Division whilst Macquarie University have always been well supported by Navy in the First Division.

Follow how the Navy girls are going in the Sydney Women's Australian Football League. The girls are spread across a few clubs but predominately Wests and Balmain who fought out the 2008 Grand Final.

The Warnbro Swans compete in the Western Australian Amateur Football League and have long been associated with the Navy. Warnbro are highly recommended for those Navy footballers who find themselves in the West and want a local club that is well supported to play for.

The Albatross Demons compete in the South Coast Australian Football League. Bomaderry also play in this league and they have a very strong association with Navy players.

Waroona compete in the Peel Football League and this side has many Navy footballers playing both seniors and reserves. It is a very strong club and recommended to Navy footballers who find themselves in the West. Rockingham also play in the PFL and is closer to Stirling than Waroona for those looking for a first grade club.

For those Navy footballers, both male and female who find themselves in Cairns, there is no shortage of good clubs who have had strong links with Navy players in the past. The North Cairns Tigers in particular is an established club.

For those Navy footballers who find themselves in Darwin and want to play with clubs that understand Navy, you cant go past either Waratahs or Wanderers although most clubs understand the nomadic nature of serving in the Navy in the top end.

For those who dont think they are up to the NTFL standard, why not try out Combined Services who compete in the TEAFA, formally the NTFA. Combined Services have been around in the top end since WWII and are based at RAAF Base Darwin.
