2006 ASAFA Carnival
The 2006 ASAFA carnival was held at Manuka Oval and saw the re-emergence of Navy football in the representational arena. With some good, new talent emerging through Cerberus together with some seasoned campaigners to show them the way, both sides were well prepared for what Army and RAAF were going to dish out.

A promotional visit to the Canberra Hospital children's ward was beneficial to both players and those being visited. Navy PR came through with some give aways for the children and as the photo shows, the players themselves found this aspect of the lead up to the carnival inspiring.

The cocktail party was once again a memorable occasion which showcased the RANAFA product to sponsors and dignatries alike. It was held on the grassed area in front of the HARMAN wardroom and attended by CN VADM Russ Shalders, DCN and RANAFA Patron RADM Max Hancock and ASAFA President Brig Brian Dawson.
