2005 ASAFA Carnival

The 2005 carnival saw the culmination of many years of hard work come to fruition. The structure and plans that had been laid many years earlier saw the male side defeat both RAAF and Army for the first time in 18 years, breaking Army's stranglehold of being crowned ASAFA champions.

After learning much from the first year of competition in 2004, the females won their first game by defeating RAAF before going down to Army in a tough contest.

Scores Females:

Navy defeated RAAF: 3.9 (27) to 1.1 (7)

Army defeated Navy: 63 point defeat
